Special Album

Of all of thier album, lyrically, this one is very special to me

NILE still upholds their genius and uniqueness

While this is simply amazing, it doesn't top their last album. I'd be surprised if they could. They clearly have created a "sub genre" or their own "style" within death metal which is commendable in its own right so while it doesn't top TWTGD it is far superior to almost everything else in the genre. It's true the vocals are bit different and the mixing/production is a bit off BUT this is offset by the Sanders-Acoustic-Interludes which are better than anything that precedes it. Also 2 tracks are INSTRUMENTAL! Very nice if you don't care much for the vocals and want to focus on their musianship! Like everything, you have to weigh the good with the bad, etc and after doing so, overall, I still think this album is fantastic and worth buying!

Good but...

The songs themselves are actually pretty good. It didn't really feel as long as an other albums like Annihilation of the Wicked. Not that it's bad but the recording production just doesn't deliver the same punch their other albums did. Natural Liberation of Fear.... Is probably my favorite
