Bushwalla: one crazy, funky ride!

I just had the pleasure to see Mr Billy "Bushwalla" Galewood - who, by the way, co-wrote Jason Mraz's "Waiting for my Rocket" and "Mr. Az" albums - with Jason Mraz in Philly at the World Cafe Live. . . AMAZING show! Bushwalla's funky beats, often-gravelly voice, and blend of humor and musical fun made that one of the best shows I've seen in a long time! "Acoustic Rhymer" is a great way to start the album and set the tone for his follow-up to the awesome "Ghetto Blaster" EP. With a little "back-up" from Mr. Az on a few tracks, his melody and harmonies combine with his '1-2-3 Band" to make for a great journey into a mesh of music that should appeal to everyone. I don't care if you like hip-hop, funk, pop, reggae, whathaveyou . . . you will like this album!! Just remember, it's hard to be a gangsta . . . with a basket on your bike. Oh, and dragonflies aren't dragons, unless you're two inches high. Enjoy!!

Bushwalla is amazing!!!

He is such an amazing entertainer and is so freaking creative! This cd doesn't do his voice justice, but that doesn't take away from it's awesomeness. Everyone should own this cd.

Fantastic, Fabulous, Amazing, and Diverse.

This Cd is Fantastic, Fabulous, Amazing, and Diverse. In less the one week at work I have listened to this CD over 45 times not counting everytime I get in my car or have listened to it at home. Track 8 is my favorite.
