Album Review

Delving deeper into their electronic side, Awake and Remixed finds Christian rockers Skillet remixing four cuts from their eighth album, 2009's Awake. Rather than amping up their sound with a pumping techno makeover, the band went for a more downtempo approach, taking things in a more chilled-out and spacy direction. Skillet fans who are chomping at the bit for some new material will definitely want to check out this EP., Rovi

dissapointed

Coming from a long term fan, I hate to say that this album was honstly mediocre at most. The main reason that I disliked it was that it ruined the songs for me. I like music played by an artist and left at that, I hate it when people use computers to make them sound better when it really just makes it sound odd and unnatural.
I understand that writing and recording music is hard and a long process, but i would much rather have waited a few more months for a new album than have this one. I still love skillet and I'm eagerly awaiting its next REAL album

Very Unique Skillet

Sounds great, interesting changes to awesome songs! Something to hold us Panheads over until the next album. Thanks for this unique release!

You shouldn't have...

You really shouldn't have, Skillet. Yikes. This doesn't improve on the once-excellent songs, and it sure can't help the already hopeless. Disapointed in this venture.
