first review

this album is different from their previous 2... they seem to have lost alot of their groovy breakdowns that i found so awesome in their first 2 albums. The change in drummers could have something to do with that. It seems alot of the amazing riffage found in the first albums is now being replaced with melodic parts, which is great in some instances, for example, minutes and the day the sky fell are 2 of the best songs i have heard as of late. I do however feel that other songs need to punch me in the face more than they seem to do right now. Less melodic singing in some songs swapped out with a classic malefice breakdown wouldnt be bad. This is, however, their most talented, tight, and put together album they have put out. All members of the band seem to be on the same page. I do also HATE the singers new scream, sounds like a boy going through puberty, BUT, his singing voice has developed well. Overall this album is good, as malefice seems to be taking a new direction. I just hope they dont loose their old style completely. I will say this though: this album WILL. GROW. ON. YOU.

The reason why it's only 7 dollars?

Digital bargain bin.

what the f*&K happened to Malefice?!

Their first two albums are epic and every track is amazing. This sounds horrible! The vocals are terrible compared to the last two albums. I loved his throat ripping yelling from before. This really saddens me.
