It is a good bargin dont get me wrong

I rather choose quality over quanity some of thsese aren't even good and wayyyy too many pieces to fit an ipod

No composers listed on tracks, confusing, can't voice select

I am just educating myself in classical, while starting violin lessons, and mostly know things by ear, not name. Unfortunately, like many classical offerings, the tracks do not include the composer! :(

I wouldn't know Bach from Beethoven, so it is a disappointment on such an extensive collection to not include these details. It's not bad if it's just a few mozart concertos, but come on...

Masterworks, Indeed!

An incredible selection of the very best violin pieces ever composed and recorded!! Arthur Grumiaux playing Beethoven with Clara Haskill; Ruggiero Ricci playing Paganini; Gidon Kremer playing Bach, with the Academy of St. Martins in the Fields; Salvatore Accardo giving us his performance of Vivaldi's Four Seasons; and Henryk Szeryng playing Kreisler brilliantly! Wow! And these are simply the highlights. All are brilliant and several are true virtuosos!!

At the very least, these are the "Masterworks" of the Twentieth Century's greatest violinists. A marvelous collection and at a most reasonable price. I highly recommend! Not sure another violin piece is needed after this purchase.
