Editors’ Notes

Spanning carols recorded from 1957 to 2007, this jubilant collection boasts a whopping 25 tracks, sung by everyone from Andy Williams and The Jackson 5 to Elton John and The Chipmunks. The opening song "Happy Xmas (War Is Over)" by John & Yoko and The Plastic Ono Band with The Harlem Community Choir is truly a perfect way to set the tone for a 2008 Holiday compilation.

Customer Reviews

FINALLY!

After 3 severely-overpriced, half-stale Christmas compilation albums, it looks like they finally made a good one with a good price. For just $10 you get 25 really great Christmas tracks. Songs here include legendary tracks such as "Happy Xmas", "Blue Christmas", "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree", and "Baby, It's Cold Outside". Also included are some newer Christmas songs released last year, including a cover version of "Do You Hear What I Hear?", performed by multi-platinum Grammy Award winning country artist Carrie Underwood, and the wonderful self-written "Mistletoe", performed by Colbie Caillat. What makes this album so much better is the majority of this tracks are THE ORIGINAL versions, not new versions covered by the "latest pop star". With Christmas just around the corner, this will be the perfect album to buy this Christmas for people of all ages.

Great album for the price!

Itunes has really gone out of it’s way to make this collection affordable. Even if you don’t like all the songs you are still getting a great deal. If you’re looking for something new, I suggest “Coal In Your Stocking This Year” by Tyler Barham.

INDIVIDUAL TRACKS!!!!!

LOVE all the songs. HAVE most of the songs. WANT Carrie Underwood! WHY CAN'T WE JUST GET HER SONG?!?! Can someone please post a good place to find her song without the annoying "AOL" voiceovers during the track??? Much appreciated. Sorry, iTunes, you're forcing her fans to look for her song elsewhere!
