Raw and Beautiful

Once again Sade is gentle, personal, beautiful, real. This album is more raw than her past stuff. Lover's Rock is still by far my favorite album of hers, but I really love this new album too. I hope she keeps recording for decades, and I hope she doesn't wait another 10 years to do another album. I'm really touched by her, and her music has always meant so much to me. I commend her for allowing her music to be so honest and for keeping it from being tainted by the record industry's ideas of what successful music should sound like. In the long run I think that has and always will make her more successful. I hope she takes the time to mentor young musicians, help them find their passion, and help them get started. Sade, thank you for being you.
