Better than current Country

Kelly has been putting out much better music that any Country artist over the past 15-20 years. Many reviews have stated she had a better album Than Tim McGraw back in the day and it’s true. So glad she is back with a new album and she sounds as good as ever. Wish mainstream would wake up to her

She Just Gets Better

I've followed her career ever since I discovered her one night when her band, Kelly and the Fireballs opened for the Sun Rhythm Section. I knew she was destined for big things even then because talent like hers is a rare commodity. I was delighted when she bolted the DC area for Austin, knowng that her rockabilly leanings would find a receptive audience there. As others have said, her sound has evolved over the years, but on this new album she reminds us where she comes from with "Modern World", just an awesome little ditty that pays homage to her rockabilly roots. Bravo Kelly and welcome back! You've been missed.

That Voice

With every song, every note everyone should know who Kelly Willis is. I got in a small back and forth with a young Millennial who said she was Kelly Willis' biggest fan becasue "I know all her songs by heart". I replied "Well perhaps you should put your money where your heart is, cuz I'm Kelly Willis' biggest fan since I've actually paid for all of her songs". I encourage everyone to put your money where your heart is.
