This is Wings greatest studio Album

A five star LP if ever there was one. This album was supposed to have been supported with a world tour but alas it was not to be. Getting Closer, We're Open Tonight, Old Siam Sir, Arrow Through Me, Spin It On and So Glad to See You Here would all be welcome additions to any of Paul's concerts today. Every song on the album is fantastic - great rockers - awesome voice. This was Wings at their very best!

The Wings That Could Have Flown...

Truly an awesome LP! I had SOOO much hope for Wings at this point that PM had 'regrouped' and put together not only one of the most musically cohesive albums of the 'WingSpan' but also one of the most polished of the life of the band. Gems of the album for me would have to be 'Winter Rose/Love Awake' and 'The Broadcast'. Of course the 'hits' off of the album, 'Arrow Through Me', 'So Glad to See You Here' and 'Rockestra Theme' each carry their own weight as well as classic PM/Wings songs. It was both one of my favourite albums from the band as well as one of my biggest disappointments as it signified the end of an era.

Fantastic Album. One iTunes problem though...

This album starts great and stays compelling through out the whole album. My personal favorites being Getting Closer and Arrow Through Me, this album really ties the Wings togther. I have the vinyl version of this album, and it's simply fantastic. Get this album as soon as you can. But, this album was released in 1979, not 1993. iTunes, your never good at getting years right....
