This time the music is inspired by the legends surrounding Coricancha, the famous fallen temple of the sun located in the Incan capital city of Cusco. With its exterior walls covered in gold, the building was mercilessly plundered by the Spanish in the 1500s. Inkuyo succeeds in capturing the mystery, majesty, and tragedy of this historical wonder.

Bought the CD at The Museum Store in the early 90's, my husband loves it as well. I'd love to see this music performed live.
