Customer Reviews

I love Deas Vail.

Wow I love this EP. It is afreakin mazing. I can't not listen to this at least once a day. Don't think about buying this just do it. You won't regret it. This music is fantastic, if it was a girl it would be a very beautiful girl, and i would marry that girl.

Good EP: Very different

I haven't been a Deas Vail fan for very long, but am a big fan of songs off of their first release like "shorline" and "anything you say." This EP is very good. The music seems quite different to me from the songs on their first album, "All The Houses Look the Same." There no piano driven alt/indie rock ballads. "Undercover" strikes me as the weakest song in composition, however, it is executed excellently. "White Lights" is one of the stronger track, boasting a more pop infused feel, with great vocals, melodies, and lyrics. "Last Place" is more closely related to their previous work, it's slower, more feeling. My favorite track is "From Priests to Thieves." The triple meter gives it a fantastic sweeping feeling, the vocals, and lyrics are great. "Balance" reminds me of a contemporary christian song, and thus said, is not all that original, but still well done. This is a good opportunity to pick up a great EP by a great band who is creating beautiful, positive music.
