A fine testament

to the elder statesman of American Music. It's sad to hear of his recent passing but a disc of this quality is sure to help spur a revival of this neglected master of the tones.

Gerard Ralph Schwarz is one of the world's leading conductors, particularly noted for music of the first great age of American symphonism. He has also been one of the great trumpet virtuosi.
