For Zeus' sake, listen to Midlake. Dude

Midlake is a band of experimental rock goodness. If you like the doves, the postal service (i guess), lemon jelly, or anything of that experimental music matter, you'll fall for this band. If you like to not conform to all that other boring same ol' music on the radio, then this'll sure float your boat, dude, and be sure to tell your homies all about them.

Hidden Gems

Where is all the praise for Midlake? I just discovered them on the nme site about an hour ago and am wondering how in the heck there is not more love for this band. From what I have listened to and read, they are pretty awesome. I really hope to hear more from them in the future.


This band is one of the greatest bands of the 2000's!!!!! Very Very great musicianship on every song on every album. Thier album titled "Trials of Van Occupanther" is an instant classic. I hope they never change thier sound I can't get enough!!!!!!!
