iTunes Review

With their third album, the candy-coated Cali ska punks straddle their underground roots and spirited pop ambitions, lacing ‘80s-indebted New Wave with hip-hop nods and sing-along melodies. Gwen Stefani’s vocals mount like a force of nature, swinging from forlorn indie (“Simple Kind of Life”) to pouty and shouty pop (“Ex-Girlfriend”).

True fans know it's their greatest

I love every single No Doubt album that exists, but this one holds a special place in my heart. The songs are just so from the heart, and it's a great musical mixture of styles. I know that it didn't do so well when it first came out, but that's only because it doesn't have much of a "pop" feel. If you are a true fan of the band you will not be disappointed. I have been a fan of No Doubt since the very first time I heard "Just A Girl" back in '95. They are my absolute favorite band ever and I love, adore, and idolize Gwen.

Formed in early 1987 as a ska band inspired by Madness, the lineup of No Doubt initially comprised John Spence, Gwen Stefani, and her brother...
