So Bad, A Remix Couldn't Even Cure It

Usually, when there is a really bad hip-pop song or some stupid dance song, the remix is much better than the original. This is because the remix includes talented emcees who can actually rap, and their verses overshadow the horrendous original songs. Examples include Walk It Out, 2 Step, Pop, Lock, & Drop It, and Party Like A Rockstar. By adding a remix to those songs, you get talented emcees like Lil Wayne, Chamillionaire, and OutKast. A Bay Bay is so bad, a remix couldn't even make it appealing. Featured on the remix is The Game, E-40, Lil Boosie, Baby, Angie Locc, and Jadakiss. Of these 6, Boosie, Angie Locc, Baby, and E-40 do nothing positive at all, but that was expected of them. It amazes me in particular that Baby is put on so many remixes while still talking about a red hat, and 23s. Jadakiss delivers with a solid verse. Now we have Game. Of everyone on this song Game by far has the most talent. Hearing his verse, you wouldn't know that. Game performs like an average wannabe emcee and has a very dissapointing verse. One of his lines is actually "They know who I is, see, they know who I am". I definitely did not expect that from Game. I guess that's just another reason not to buy this song.

Better Than Original

The remix is way better than the original with the game and other great artists! The Game and Birdman, Lil Boosie, and Jadakiss do great on this one!

I despise the original

But I love this version! Remember the review I posted saying to watch out for it? Well, now you know what I am talkin about.

Years Active: '00s, '10s

Rapping since he was just nine years old, Shreveport, LA's Hurricane Chris burst onto the national scene in 2007 with his catchy single "A Bay Bay." After gaining some local attention with his indie singles "Ya Hear Me" and "Yep" along with some mixtape appearances, Hurricane Chris caught local legend DJ Hollyhood Bay Bay being welcomed at a club with the audience chanting "Hey Bay Bay!" Hollyhood was a leader of Shreveport's ratchet movement -- Shreveport's version of crunk or hyphy -- of which...
