Love Sheeran

Be Alright

Sydney singer-songwriter Dean Lewis tackles the topic of betrayal in this stripped back new tune, described as “brutal, honest and stirring.” The haunting strains of acoustic guitar rip the heart out and the modern lyrics asking to look at the text messages of his cheating lover beautifully capture the complexity of challenges in todays dating culture. If you love Ed Sheeran, Vance Joy, Adam Levine or yes even Taylor Swift, give this song a listen and then do yourself a favor and listen to “Waves” from his last EP!

About Dean Lewis

Australian-born adult alternative singer/songwriter Dean Lewis taught himself guitar growing up, playing along to his favorite Oasis songs and writing his own compositions, slowly amassing a small arsenal of original songs. He would continue largely outside the public eye for some time, quietly writing over 80 original songs before eventually releasing his first proper single, "Waves," in 2016. The song was a huge hit in Australia and was certified platinum within a year of its release. He followed the single with "Need You Now" in early 2017, and in May of that year released a debut EP titled Same Kind of Different. The moody and evocative pop tones of the EP included "Waves" and "Need You Now," as well as four additional tracks in a similar dark yet melodic style. A third single from the album, "Chemicals," appeared in 2018. ~ Fred Thomas
