iTunes Review

Beautiful Lies captures a Birdy who is growing older, wiser, and more haunted by life’s experiences. The youthful lilt found on earlier efforts has evolved into a rich, soulful croon; likewise, her shimmering piano ballads have grown deeper, thicker, and significantly more baroque. Featuring vocal acrobatics bobbing and weaving through ethereal strings and skittering beats, “Shadow” and “Silhouette” are emotionally complex confessionals from a singer/songwriter caught between hope and self-doubt. On “Wild Horses,” Birdy employs a similar construction, yet eschews intimacy for a boldly soaring sound.

Great album :)

From the spectacular opener (Growing Pains) to the beautiful closer (Beautiful Lies) Birdy hs transformed into a different artist with a different album, filled with uplifting and nice songs. It`s very good!

Love Birdy! But I have to say that I liked her older music better. In these songs it seems like she's always echoing herself. But still, it's Birdy.

just previews!

I haven't even bought the album yet, but just listening to the Demo's of the songs ..😩😩😩😩, Deep End is my FAVORITE
