Exactly what I hoped it would be

I fell in love with the lead singer, Lauren Worsham, in "A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder." I found Sky Pony when googling her other work. I especially fell for the song "Beautiful Monster" from a video of her performing at 54Below. I have been waiting and hopping for an album. This album is exactly what I hoped it would be. The entire band is wonderful, the songs are catchy, and the mood is very cohesive. So happy with this album

I've been playing this album on loop for days!

I'm a huge fan of Sky-Pony. Lauren's voice is incomparable, of course, but these are also just really great songs! The lyrics are so great, and the orchestrations are so smart and moving. Lauren's instrument just sends it all into the stratosphere. "Rapture" and "Everyone Will Die" have been favorites of mine for a while, but I absolute love "The Watcher" and "Action Movie," too!

Really captures the essence of the band

I've been a big fan of Sky Pony for a few years. But the CD's never quite captured the sound and exuberance of a live concert. This new CD fixes that. It's a great introduction to Sky Pony for those who don't know them. The tunes are catchy, the lyrics hilariously disturbing at times and Lauren Worsham's voice is without equal. If the vocals are a bit more alternative pop and a little less R&R than in live concert that's not necessarily a bad thing. In fact it adds to the feeling you get that great attention has been made to every detail in the recording and mix. Not that anyone cares but intonation is crazy good from everyone involved, including the string players. Great CD.
