iTunes Review

No Regrets feels like the first opportunity this long-working vocalist has had to simply be herself on a record. Her focus and self-assured demeanor come through immediately on the title track, a song fueled by inner strength and based around a cyclical, hypnotizing hook. While the album still shows traces of her stage training there is something more relaxed and human about her delivery here. Withers is drawn to club music (“Rock & Rain”) and melodramatic showstoppers (“I Remember”), but her personality comes trough strongest on unadorned soul songs like “Take Me Back,” “Need Love,” “Alright” and “Because I Love You.” Songs like “Why” distinguish Withers from the competing ladies of modern R&B, but she doesn’t need to change her style to stand apart. She displays a dignity and strength that can only come from years of paying dues — a feeling that can’t be expressed in the kind of manufactured R&B songs we often hear on the radio. A song like “Say It Now” is a reflection of the expression Withers wears on the album cover — open but resolute, and with enough confidence to know she has nothing to hide.

What a voice

I was blessed to see Elisabeth perform last night at Justin's in Atlanta. Where she mesmerized the audience. What a great performance. Not only is she a great vocalist her personality and spirit created for the audience a reverence. She is truly blessed from above. Her Album is creatively expressive with the essence of authentic R&B, try to find that now days. This is an CD to have in your IPOD IPHONE or I-(whatever you have to listen to.)

A must have album..

Elisabeth and I are from the same home town. I had the pleasure of watching her perform in all of our high school talent shows to which she would always win. Even back in those days you could see the talent and star potential shining through this young lady like a lighthouse on a rainy night. Maybe I'm a little biased because I know her but one thing is for sure. Hearing her sing on this album gave me goose bumps the way she did back in high school. And as you may know goose bumps aren't biased and they definitely don't lie.
