Funky and silly dance grooves

The Wallets were a great band to see live. These tracks capture part of their funky dance appeal. One of the few bands I know to really work the rock accordion. Front man Steve Kramer's humor was always tongue-in-cheek, but he could be introspective, too ("Sometimes"). Best tracks: "Totally Nude," "Sometimes," "I Wanna Go to Hollywood."

This is a great album! The Wallets were a tight 80's band out of Minneapolis. The tunes are full of soul and levity, ranging from funky to irreverent. I especially love the saxophone (played by Max Ray). Play this album when you need a playful pick me up.

I bought this to remind me of college and boy is it fun to hear after all these years.
If you are looking for some dance music, some '80s music or just something to listen to that doesn't sound like anything else you hear, The Wallets are what you are looking for.
