YES

The contrast between their voices will keep you listening, their sound and lyrics will keep you listening. I saw them live and it changed my life. Their chemistry on stage and the way they interact with the audience... Probably my favorite band to see live.

Getting better

Other than the guy's voice being a little too Tom Waits for my taste, i really like this band and I love where their heads are at. I love the swampy and sinister feel to most of the songs. Thematically and, especially instrumentally, they are perfect. Amazing guitars on both of their albums. A lot like what Black Keys used to be and what the Kills can sometimes be.

This album shows improvement over their last. There are many more keepers on Touch. The only throwaways are 3, 5 and 10. Track 2 is, by far, their best tune to date. I also love the line in Jesus Said So about ego and creating God in our own image, so lyrically they aren't slouches either. Keep it up July Talk!

July Talk Delivers

I am a big fan of July Talk. Their live shows are incredible. Their sound is unique and very intriguing. I love the contrast of Peter and Leah's voices, strong guitar riffs and the stories in the lyrics of their songs.
