NewSong - Living Proof

Though NewSong has produced so many amazing albums, Living Proof ranks right up there near the top. The title song is one of the their best songs that they have ever written. The chorus is powerful and moving. The song is great reminder that we need to take God's love out into the world. "How Will They Know" is a close runner-up, telling us that we need to live our lives in a way so that the unbelievers can see Jesus in us. "Tug O' War" is a fun song with a catchy beat that talks about how we need to apply God's word to our lives daily in order to win the battle between doing right and wrong. Other good songs include "Turn it Around", an upbeat song speaking about the importance of telling others about Christ, "Fight Back", a somewhat rocklike song about fighting our flesh and not giving in to sin, "Only the Hands", a soft slow song explaining Christ's work on the cross and the vibrant "One Heart at a Time", a song about preaching the Gospel so that we can win hearts for Christ. There's only a few songs that I didn't enjoy; the rest were very solid songs, making this album a joy to listen to. Nice work NewSong!
