An absolute classic...
This is the the recording (cassette tape 1984) that jump started my future in music education. I was first captured with the brass on "Fanfare for the Common Man" for such a long time then eventually became a "classical music fan". Flawless expression of all movements from the New York Phil make this recording a monumental classic. Bernstein always allowed them to push the limit and raise the standard. This is a recording all serious musicians will need in their personal library. -Luvin Villarreal, TX
I think this is great. I like the speed Leonard plays it with the orchestra. Copland is hard, and he does a fantastic job.
This is a great album with all of my favorite Copland music. I am enjoying it immensely. The music is beautiful.
