holy crap! I love these guys!

If played through all in probably 80,000 times. I waited impatiently for new music praying to god that they wouldn't split and one day I see this, I tried to hold in my excitement thinking it might not be as good as their first one but by the time the second track was over I knew they hadn't lost their touch. I don't really know what's so great about this band, they have a pretty normal sound and at first come across as average, I didn't think I would like them so much. However they've totally grown on me and I firmly believe they're one of the best bands around today. Great to have ten new tracks keep it up guys.

Best Album of 2009

I buy a ton of music, mostly in the punk genre, and the various offshoots it creates. But this album here was my favorite of 2009. I listen to it over and over and over. This album does it to you. Good music has depth, has meaning, it adds something to the world. This album does that. I believe that when folks look back on this album it will be remembered as that underrated punk album that secretly represented the best of the genre during this era....can't say enough good things. The Ocean is my favorite on the album, if only because when I too stand on the shore, I feel the same is the only place where my fears feel small and insignificant...captured perfectly by Nothingon....

Great album. Been waiting for this for a while.

Years Active: '00s

When Bay Area pop-punk outfit Tsunami Bomb came to a close in 2005, drummer Gabe Lindeman and guitarist/vocalist Jay Northington were left without a band, but not without their desire to keep playing music. It just made sense for the friends to continue writing and practicing together, and so that's what they did in an old woodshop in Petaluma, CA. They christened the project Nothington in the spring of 2006 and posted some demos online, though at that point, they still had yet to figure out what...
