Popsicle for your ears!

I am surprised to have never heard of Henri Salvador before but am delighted to have stumbled onto this! I was trawling itunes to fill out an Eartha Kit & Edith Piaf playlist I was building, and while I generally cherry pick the songs I want from an album, at this price and variety of song styles represented the album is too much of a delight AND a bargain to pass up. Salvador's style is varied, but consistently upbeat, suave, and elegant. Like a Harry Belefonte, but French. Downloaded on a scorcher of a day and this music is perfect -- light refreshing -- like a popsicle for your ears. What an unexpected treat.
(Oh, and the cover art -- perfect.)
