Customer Reviews

It's good to see that iTunes finally has the Hoosiers soundtrack. I think this is one of Jerry Goldsmith's best accomplishments, personally. All of the tracks on here are good, especially the first and last (although you have to buy the album to have all of the last track). This music is as inspring and uplifting as the movie itself- highly recommended!

Pretty Good

The music overall is pretty good. It sounds almost like the music in the movie, but thats the problem. It doesn't sound exactly like the music in the movie. It sounds kinda like it was redone with some 80's keyboard, but overall if you love the music from the movie then buy one or two of the songs and see what you think. I personally bought Best Shot and You Did Good. They are worth what I paid for them.

Perfect Score for the Perfect Hoops Movie

Goldsmith was able to capture the dynamics of the team and the action on the court very well. As a ball player and high school coach, who still believes that the underdog can win it all, this music truly represents the trials and tribulations of high school hoops. I've waited a long time to get this (I have the original cassette, but I've never been able to find it until now). If you loved the movie, then download this album from's selling for close to $30.00 on Amazon. Great music!
