Only one or two good songs

Saliva isn't the same anymore...their sound is too poppy and not hard enough...what happened to Click Click Boom? That style amazed me and kept me into these guys...the only song close to that on this new album is "Burn It Up" if you're gonna get anything from this album, that's the song. Everything else is like a love song gone wrong or a pathetic attempt at something new. It's not ok and this is not the right direction for these guys.

Better and Back!

I actually like this Saliva better! Sounds just like almost all my other favorite bands I listen to. Keep the music coming, you guys rock!!

What happened to this band, the same band who did Click Click Boom, Your Disease, and Ladies and Gentleman! First off the song Nothing is actually painful to listen to the chorus! The cd is full of songs that are VERY SOFT, believe it or not country-like (Hate Me, Spotlight), and old school Saliva songs. But the old school Saliva songs are very repetitive just like King of The stereo was.....Burn it up, Burn it up, Burn it up.....I'm a Badass, I'm a Badass, it gets annoying! Listen to Never Should Have Let You Go and then go to their first cd and compare the BIG difference. I don't mind change, but this is TOO MUCH. Blood-Stained Love Story started their downfall and it has only gotten worse in my opinion. I still have a little bit of faith left in this band thanks to Badass. Still love their old work!!!

Although formed in September 1996, Saliva didn't hit the mainstream until 2001, when the band's mix of angsty hard rock and hip-hop helped earn a double-platinum certification for its sophomore album, Every Six Seconds. Two of the album's songs had already appeared on Saliva's self-released debut, which was issued in 1997 on the band's own label. Singer Josey Scott, guitarists Chris Dabaldo and Wayne Swinny, bassist Dave Novotny, and drummer Paul Crosby were all veterans of the Memphis music scene,...
