About time!

I've been waiting since the release of the film for this soundtrack. Beyond the Black Rainbow is one of the most fascinating genre flicks to be released in quite some time and it was aided by this incredible soundtrack that helped bring the films bizarre imagery to life. If you haven't seen the movie then watch it, because I'm sure afterwords you will want to download this soundtrack. I've been using iTunes for years but have never bothered to write a review, this one is too good to pass up. If you are a fan of 80's synth inspired music then it's a must listen.

One of the best

Im a Witch,

Like many I have been awaiting an official release of this OST. BTBR is one of those films that sticks with you for life. And in big part thanks to this score.

Bravo for finally releasing it, I hope to see more releases like this in the future!

About Sinoia Caves

Sinoia Caves is the solo alter ego of Black Mountain's Vancouver-based keyboardist Jeremy Schmidt, who is also a former member of Pipedream and the Battles. Outside the confines of his primary maximal hard rock band, as Sinoia Caves he records exclusively with vintage synthesizers and organs. His spacy, post-psych, post-German sound reflects influences from early Popol Vuh to middle period Tangerine Dream, from Klaus Schulze to Rick Wakeman, Bo Hansson, and composer/director John Carpenter.

Sinoia Caves issued its debut full-length, The Enchanter Persuaded, in 2006 on Jagjaguwar/Brah Records, introducing rich, dramatic, and textured sounds.

In 2010, Sinoia Caves was commissioned by Canadian filmmaker Panos Cosmatos -- son of director George P. Cosmatos -- to score his debut feature film, Beyond the Black Rainbow. The picture made the festival circuit and was eventually picked up for distribution and received a theatrical release in the U.S. and Canada. In the late summer of 2014, Jagjaguwar released the full soundtrack/score to Beyond the Black Rainbow. ~ Thom Jurek
