Creative Geniuses Coming Together...

Big Boi—known for being one half of the almighty Outkast—is a rap god and a living legend. He and Andre 3000 put Atlanta and the South on the map during the East/West Coast rivalry during the 90s, and the two are often regarded as two of the greatest hip-hop artists of all time. Outkast’s work is timeless and has influenced innumerable hip-hop artists today. Following the release of Outkast's final LP “Idlewild,” Big has been working on his successful solo career and stretching his creative legs. During his work on his second LP, “Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors,” he collaborated with up-and-coming Phantogram on three tracks, and the chemistry was sublime. In fact, so much so that an entire EP was created. This is a manifestation of Big Boi and Phantogram’s limitless creativity, with an experimental flair that expresses a passion for the craft. The collaboration is replete with raw talent and showcases how genre-bending can work perfectly.

This. Is. Art.

This collab between Big Boi and Phantogram has given me hope about the future of Hip Hop. 🔥🔥🔥🔥
