iTunes Review

Wiz Khalifa’s third album sees him transitioning with ease from stoner-next-door to bonafide rap star, largely thanks to “Black and Yellow,” a soaring, stadium-sized ode to his Philadelphia hometown. Rolling Papers blends Khalifa’s perma-chill hippie rap with anthemic choruses: “Roll Up” and “No Sleep” are giddy synth-pop bangers that revel in carefree indulgence. He's got plenty of reason to celebrate, too: As he crows on the dreamily triumphant "Rooftops," “Used to not be allowed in the building, but now we on the rooftop.”

Ok for main stream, older stuff is on another planet

Will people quite saying this is his first album! This one is ok for a mainstream feel, but nothing can compare to his mixtapes that go back to 2006 and before. You gotta go listen to prince of the city, kush and o.j. , all of the older ones blow these new ones out the water. Happy to see him blowin up cuz he deserves it but the real fans that have been listening to him for years can agree that the old wiz is the best there was.

Oh yup

I mean it's Wiz Khalifa....what more can I say? He's a beast...too beast. This should be number one album in a minute.

Great 1st album. Only opens doors for a bigger sophomore album next year!!! Can't wait. Oh and Mac Miller is up next. Fool,,,,

Along the way there were revered mixtapes, sports anthems, a friendship with West Coast legend Snoop Dogg, the proliferation of his crew referencing Taylor Gang or Die T-shirts, and a friendship with the late actor Paul Walker...
