iTunes Editors’ Notes

There are many sides to Jake Stanczak. The Hollywood (by way of Rochester, N.Y.) DJ and producer co-owns Slow Roast Records while performing and recording under the names Ewun and Kill the Noise. He championed dubstep for nearly 10 years before releasing his highly anticipated Black Magic. It's then no wonder that the seven songs on this 2012 EP are each amazing in their own right—so much that Skrillex signed Kill the Noise to his prestigious OWSLA label. “Black Magic (Kill the Noise Pt. 2)” opens grandiosely, with a sprawling vocal choir singing his moniker as if its members were worshiping Kill the Noise in a church. As the title suggests, this song is a follow-up to “Pt. 1” from Kill the Noise's preceding Kill Kill Kill EP, and it ramps up production as Phantom of the Opera–sounding organ parts clash with analog synthesizers while the choir weaves in and out of scattered beats and big bass drops. The dub mix of “Jump Ya Body” features Mercedes on the mic, while “Saturn” balances a throaty bass with Minxx's sultry voice.

I am so stoked for this much anticipated album!!!!

I honestly think KTN is the most unique Dub/ Electro/ What ever you want to call him artist out there, Can you really think of anything similar to him? Everything that he has made it just absolutely amazing, and I'm sure this will be no exception, KTN is absolutely my favorite artist on OWSLA second would be Porter Robinson or Zedd, I've heard two of the songs already from SoundCloud (Because some people like posting unreleased music) and I'm sure this is a must have for anybody that even kinda likes him, so buy it, you won't be disappointed :)

This guy is insanely talented. Definitely one of the very high ranking producers of this time, and deservedly so. His sound and style is so unique, an old school dubstep vibe characterizes several of the tracks with wicked breakdowns (some of the best I've ever heard.) Any and I mean ANY person that enjoys electronic music will thoroughly enjoy this album. Theres a track for all tastes. Every song feels completely unique and interesting in its own way, and it feels like the tracks keep you guessing how the next insanely mind-blowing drop will unfold, and they never disappoint. This one deserves your hard earned 7$.

Covering the EDM spectrum from electro house to dubstep, Kill the Noise is one of the projects from Rochester, New York-based producer Jake Stanczak. After finding dancefloor success under the name Ewun, Stanczak launched the spacier and more dubstep-oriented Kill the Noise in 2008 with the album Kill Kill Kill. Successful remixes of the hit Estelle and Kanye West track "American Boy" followed, while 2010 found him working with Jon Gooch on the Feed Me's Big Adventure EP, which was released by Deadmau5's...
