The Katakysm is here!

Kataklysm is one of my most favorite bands(maybe because the lyrics are very understandble). They rock and I would suggest you get theis whole album or at least get either "The Last Effort"(which is a surprisingly good instrumental), "Taking the World By Storm", or "Prevail". You rock Kataklysm! Who else agrees?

Another great Kataklysm album

I like every one of Kataklysm's albums because they combine brutal death metal with awesome black metal riffs and create great metal masterpieces. I am soooo excited that I get to see them on this year's Summer Slaughter Tour. Chains of Power is the first song that really stands out on this album, and As Death Lingers reminds me of something off of Serenity In Fire. Tracks 6-8 are all good, and The Vultures are Watching sounds like classic Kataklysm. The last song on the album is the best, like always, which is why even if you don't like this band you should still buy the last track off of every album. Because Under the Bleeding Sun (Serenity in Fire), Road to Devastation (In the Arms of Devastation), Decades of Darkness (Shadows & Dust) are all great ending tracks. This is my second favorite Kataklysm album to date, my first being Serenity In Fire.

Greatest Band Ever

This album is killer. Band keeps getting better and better. Seen them a hundred times on tour. Love these guys, piano piano.

Formed: 1991 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada

Genre: Rock

Years Active: '90s, '00s, '10s

These Canadians started to rock in 1992 with the mission statement "deliver the most punishing music ever created by combining melody and power into one devastating force." Whether they are the most punishing band ever could be debated for hours over multiple bottles of Jim Beam. But one thing is for sure: Kataklysm are an extremely heavy death metal band and have managed to remain interesting throughout their career. Their other amazing feat is that they have managed to maintain the same lineup...
