Album Review

Is Jet Life the artist and Jet World Order the mixtape title? Or should this really be a various-artists set with a ":" between the two? When it comes to the title, this is typical stoner looseness from the languid-and-loving-it Curren$y, who here presents his Jet Life crew members Trademark Da Skydiver, and Young Roddy, and to a much lesser extent, Mikey Rocks and Street Wiz. Curren$y himself appears on a handful of cuts while the smooth production comes from Cookin' Soul and Monsta Beatz. Laid-back vibes, clean funk, witty weed talk, and snide boasts all reign supreme, although a bona fide single or persuasive cut for outsiders fails to emerge.

Jet Life Till the Next Life

I'm not the person to write reviews about all the music I love but Curren$y continues to exceed my expectations of what rap can be as a genre. I'm continually amazed with all of the albums that he makes, no matter if their free or not. Coming from a whit dude who loves hip hop, I will as aways stand behind someone who embodies quality of their craft this fully. Curren$y is a genius no matter who else is willing to admit it and he's inspiring other rappers around him to express themselves in a very unique way. Much love and I hope that some day all people will realize the genius and integrity that is at work behind an artist like this.

The carefree album was produced by a handful of figures, with...
