His Best Movie and Best Music

I am amazed that there is only one other reveiw here Guess us "old folks" just aren't here much on iTunes. I have been a fan of Elvis since his first appearance on Ed Sullivan and even before that. My sister is 4 years older than I, I was born in 48. She infulenced me a lot as we grew up. But anyway, I totally love Elvis's movies and this one was the most fun. And this music is great. Every song on it is wonderful, and brings back so many memories I am right in the 60s generation, love the Beatles, Rolling Stones, but I also have always loved Elvis. He's The King! The title song is so beautiful, then Almost Always True rocks so nice, and of course Can't Help Fallin In Love. My favorites may be surprising, I titally love Hawaiian Sunset (so poetic and beauitful melody and Kaui, Island of Love. Maybe because I love Kauai! Anyway, this is a GREAT album.

No, I'm here too! I love this album!

This is to CaliforniaDreamin and everyone else who loves older music sometimes: No you're not the only one, I'm here too, moving all around in iTunes from old to new and I'm sure there are others as well! I have been having a blast looking up Elvis, Dean Martin, Sinatra, oh, and if you type in the year you want, iTunes has a collection of popular songs from that year. My iPod loves the classics. I'm telling you, I'm having so much fun. But back to Elvis, Blue Hawaii was my favorite movie of his, I saw it when I was a kid and I love all the songs. Also, check out his "Essential" album, and "Hitstory" too. Love it! Have fun!

Ku-U-I-Po...Elvis is Forever

Awesome can feel the sand between your toes, and see the wind in Elvis's hair. Great soundtrack.

Elvis Presley may be the single most important figure in American 20th century popular music. Not necessarily the best, and certainly not the most consistent. But no one could argue with the fact that he was the musician most responsible for popularizing rock & roll on an international level. Viewed in cold sales figures, his impact was phenomenal. Dozens upon dozens of international smashes from the mid-'50s to the mid-'70s,...
