Album Review

Duncan's tenth solo effort is a diverse affair which bounces from earnest ballads to mid-tempo soul to more peppy tunes.

Pop, Bop and Blue Skies!

This in in fact an older release from Bryan (1995 or so) ... but still one of his best! The title track is a good indicator as to the direction this album took. Bop, sway and dance your way through a very memorable release from this soulful singer. Worth checking out here is; "Dying To Meet You", a moody deep and meaningful track, "Tell Me Where You Are" and "Turnin'", which are among the stand out tracks on this album. You can't go wrong with anything from Bryan Duncan, fans of current and classic CCM will enjoy this download.

The Best of Byran Duncan

If you have never listened to Bryan Duncan...Blue Skies is excellent to get a great taste of his type of music. It is uplifting, thoughtful, inspirational, filled with a jazzy feel not heard in alot of Christian Contemporary music. He writes and sings upon the soundtrack of our life. This is a must listen! Pop this one in when you need to be up-lifted.

Avoid the retreads

I love Bryan's voice and his music really speaks to me, but he has a habit of re-releasing songs every couple of years. Check you existing library before you buy all the songs. Several songs on Blues skies are on previous albums. but, if you are new to Bryan's music, go for it.

By 1993's Mercy, Duncan had begun a parade of hits, including "Love Takes Time," "I'll...
