another masterpiece

What can I say about this album but that it is another masterpiece. If you loved her solo album Flower of Avalon or any of the work of Dave Carter and Tracy then this is a must have. It has been a long time that I have been so impressed with a first listen and it only gets better. Tracy knows how to pick and cover the good songwriters out there and adds to the song instead of just covering, much like Emmylou Harris and those of her ilk. Take a chance and buy Blue Wing and/or Gypsy Rose ( a new version) and see if you are not tempted to take advantage of Itunes offer to complete your album.

Thank goodness for internet music distribution

Heard a cut from Tracy on an internet radio station and went to iTunes and downloaded this whole album (take note RIAA!). Wonderfully arranged and produced, straight-ahead folk with hints of Daniel Lanois at times, and Tracy's voice keeps getting stronger and surer. Can't believe I missed this one earlier.

beautiful

I sought out this album because of one song, ,but the entire album is magnificent. The song in question was Travis John, dedicated to the memory of Cpl. Travis John Bradach-Nall of Portland, Oregon, who was killed in Iraq July 2, 2003 at the age of 21. Thank you, Tracy, for a wonderful rendition of this song. A fitting tribute to a great young man, gone way to soon.
