iTunes Editors’ Notes

The title track from Robin Thicke's sixth studio album may feature hip-hop star T.I. and R&B singer/producer Pharrell Williams, but Thicke is unquestionably oriented toward the pop charts. "4 The Rest of My Life" finds Thicke trilling over lush, vintage disco-style strings, while the '80s-referencing "Give It 2 U" pairs his falsetto croon with a sassy hook and a guest verse courtesy of Kendrick Lamar. The album's party-starting vibe continues with the energetic "Ain't No Hat 4 That" and the breezy album closer, "The Good Life."

Okay...

I really wanted the clean version of Blurred Lines!!!!

Not so clean version

I love Robin Thicke. So do my kids, but I obviously hand pick the songs they can listen to based on content. When I got the edited version of this album, I was surprised to hear that a certain word referring to a woman was not removed from the title track. There is also a S bomb in another song. Clearly I cannot listen to these songs with my kids. How can you call this a clean version when you only took out the F word? I hope more people will point this out and maybe you can rerelease the clean version but make it all the way clean.

Great Sounding yet Lying

Why is there profanity in the clean version of blurred lines

He worked for over a decade as a modestly successful songwriter and fledgling solo artist prior to breaking through — assisted by the Neptunes — with 2006's The Evolution of Robin Thicke. On that album, his inspirations, ranging from '70s Marvin...
