This is absolutely awful!

I am not sure what Bobby Rydell was thinking when he went into the studio to re-record these songs... but it is a total disaster. The over vocalization and phrasing on "Volare" is horrible... what was he thinking? Bobby, take a hint... sing them the way you did in the early 60's and all will be fine! These are the kinds of disasters that should never be allowed to be released on iTunes. Shame on the iTunes staff for allowing this kind of stuff out here.


Bobby Rydell still has the same sound as he did when he was a teen idol! He hasn't lost a step! Volare is the only thinker on this one though. But still a great track! Well done Bobby!

I don't think Volare is as bad as all that. In fact, his voice is still so darn youthful it sounds like it was recorded in the early
60's just a wee bit different rendition. You're lucky Bobby, a lot of us boomers aren't so lucky.
