Great music for a great show

Always liked the music for this show, probably some of the best songwriting in all of tv, past and present. I think it would have been more interesting to see extended versions of some of the shorter songs (< 30 sec) though. The ones that are in that classic David Schwartz style need their own album.

Holy Moly...

...dare I say guacamole. I have spent my whole life trying to find the perfect music album. I was sure that nothing could top the likes of SGT PEPPERS, PET SOUNDS, LONDON CALLING, THRILLER, HIGHWAY 61 REVISITED, REVOLVER, LED ZEPPELIN IV, NEVERMIND, VELVET UNDERGROUND & NICO, OK COMPUTER, BORN TO RUN, WHO’S NEXT, MUSIC FROM BIG PINK, IN THE AEROPLANE OVER THE SEA, MUSIC FROM BIG PINK, AMERICAN BEUTY, DARK SIDE OF THE MOON, but boy was I wrong! From the opening notes of “Arrested Development (Main Title)” to the final beats of “Boomerang", this album will have you suspended in some perfect dream utopia. It’s insane. Many of the tracks don’t even reach past the one minute mark— how daring! It reminds me of the first time I heard the RAMONES debut, with each song being short and perfect. If every song doesn’t win the oscar for best song ever, than the oscars will be wrong for the first time, and they will be missing out on the most moving, heartfelt (see: “It’s not easy being white”) album of the history of the planet earth.
