This is the first band that I ever saw live. I was 16 and some friends got in the back door of the Double Door Inn in Charlotte, North Carolina. Still today this is the best band that I have ever seen live. I have all of their albums in vynal and they are just flat worn out. They are the reason the blues is #1 on my list.

About The Powder Blues Band

The group signed with Capitol, which released Uncut and Powder Blues in 1980. Other albums include Thirsty Ears (1981), Party Line (1982), Red Hot/True Blue (1983), First Decade-Greatest Hits (1990) and Let's Get Loose (1993). ~ John Bush
