I'm glad Ed has given us another fine example of his talent. Unfortunately too often fine older performers leave us without adequitely documenting their gifts. In this case Ed Reed and an all-star ensemble of Rob Fisher (B), Akira Tana (D), Anton Schwartz (S) and Randy Porter (P) have fused a wonderful mixture of very tastfully selected tune, played at the highest level of musicianship with a freshness and creativity rarely heard. In a couple of words, "It Swings".

Reed left high school without graduating and enlisted in the U.S. Army.
