EDITORS’ NOTES

Django Django have a gift for juggling wildly disparate and exciting ideas. On their sophomore full-length—Born Under Saturn—the Scottish outfit improve upon the bedroom folktronica of their Mercury Prize–nominated debut with songwriting that’s as confident as it is inventive. Throbbing house rhythms and a cheeky clarinet solo coexist beautifully amid radiant synth patterns on “Reflections,” while crispy surf guitar and a psychedelic swarm of electronics make way for a mesmerizing steel drum groove on “Break the Glass.”

Those Awesome White Artists

With their debut album that came out 3 years ago, those who are fans (either hard core or not so much) have been waiting and wondering impatiently if they were going to bring a new album, and what is to come soon, already sounds like an even stronger comeback this time round. I definitely know what i’m going to save my money for.

I Love Surprises

I thought I was totally taking a chance buying this, hadn’t heard it, had no idea what to expect. After listening to other summer albums in vain, I finally put this one on. It pulled me out of my funk SO good. I Love It.

Shake & Tremble

I got the track "Shake & Tremble" from the "Free in iTunes" section a few weks ago. After listening to it awhile, I just have to say, great rock stuff here. Kinda reminds me of 60s Surf Music. I love this sound!
