Amazing, as always

From the very first album, I knew Revocation were destined to become the next pioneers in the thrash metal scene. They have brilliant muscical composition and song structure, and the kind of unpredictability that leaves you motionless as you listen, to the track, not knowing what kind of mayhem they will throw your way next. Each member of the band shows incredible amounts of talent and never fail to take it to their full potential in every song. This new EP is very promising on upcoming material. They have a more brutal "chugging" sound and by far, and most notably, the improvement in the vocals. It sounds much more harsh and death metal orientated, and not so belched and forced. Of course, they return with their amazing composition skills that never fail to impress. I am thouroghly impressed, and cannot wait for another full album realease from these guys.

Teratogenesis? More like, Teratoamazing.

After hearing Chaos Of Forms I wasn't sure how they would continue after such an amazing album but this follow up EP is an amazing step forward, and a brilliant introduction of their new bassist. I highly look forward to the next Revocation release.

Impressed

I got this album for free at a Job For A Cowboy concert and it has far exceeded my expectations!

Biography

Formed: Boston, MA

Genre: Metal

Years Active: '00s, '10s

Boston, MA trio Revocation is comprised of vocalist/guitarist David Davidson, vocalist/bassist Anthony Buda, and drummer Phil Dubois-Coyne — all of whom showcase incredible dexterity at their chosen instruments, even by heavy metal standards, and came together as a group in 2005. Armed with a super-technical thrash/death metal style prizing virtuosity as much as heaviness and aggression, the group soon began attracting A&R men from numerous labels with their self-released Summon the Spawn...
