What's Really Good

The production on these tracks is primarily, and may be entirely, from the Heatmakerz. Having said that, the beats on this album are my favorite around. Take not though that all of the songs contain sped up and pitched samples, so if you're not a fan of this, then stay away. It appears that even Atmosphere ripped of the beat from "Who I Am." The lyrics are bad. This isn't that bad of a thing though. The more you listen, the more rediculous the lyrics are, such as "...I'm here for a challenge, like this here reminds me of Giligan's Island (whoaaa)." or listen to the song called "I Love You," my favorite track. The lyrics have little to do with the title. Having said that though, most songs such as "I Love You" are full of emotion and varied tones. The flow of the rap is slow and perfect for the tracks. If you're not all about serious lyrics, and like sampled oldies, then this is the best cd you can buy, even today.

The diplomats were never the same after this allbum - this is their pinnacle of power, their most pure game. Cop this and you will be satisfied. The movement moves on...
