Because I Say So ,

I'm having second thoughts about Kim Sozzi

If you've seen my review for "How Did You Know?" by Mynt, you know that I am (or rather, was) not a fan of Kim Sozzi; I thought she couldn't sing. But listening to the Ian Nieman Club Mix of "Break Up" made me rethink her vocal ability entirely. Her flanged vocals soar above Ian's awesome house sound, and the break is absolutely gorgeous. So, consider me a fan, Ms. Sozzi! I love it!

Recommended: Ian Nieman's mixes. They are beautifully-done house pieces.
Not recommended: Cascada's mixes. Once was enough with "Everytime We Touch", but Cascada seems to have gone overboard with the synthage and thumping signature beat. Their mixes give me a headache.

Break-Up + Kim Sozzi + Cascada = Awesome Track!

Kim Sozzi never fails to give us a great track.....but Cascada included in the mixes....makes this track the early 2007 hit track in dance! woo hoo! go Cascada and Kim! =P

It's Getting Old

I didn't think that a sound could become dated this quickly, but I was wrong. The Cascada Remix once again gives the signature "Everytime We Touch" sound, and it fails terribly. The synth lead is terrible, and the rest is just the same as EWT. Why pay extra when you can buy just one Cascada song and get it over with? The Johnny Budz mixes are better but lacking, and the Ian Nieman mixes are the best, but certainly not a strong dance track in itself.
