EPIC

If you though "Killing with a Smile" was good, you're in for a treat. The only word that I can describe for this album is "epic." No other hardcore album comes close, except maybe Killswitch Engage's As Daylight Dies. This album is very heavy, but not overbearing like other genres (grindcore, black metal, etc) and is the best hardcore album of 2007. Their musical maturity is growing a lot more by means of intricate and smoothly woven guitar solos that perfectly compliment the rhythm section and breakdowns that simply do what they are supposed to do- punch you in the chest.

Haha.

To the kid that said this band is no different.. Leave then. This does not sound like as i lay dying. Or killswitch. This band is awesome and i think it in large part has to do with the vocalist. Its pure energy. Passion. Power. They remind me a lot of IKTPQ with song structures and such. This whole CD is a must buy.

Wow

Parkway Drives last album was really good, but this album is put together much better. Like all albums, it is hard to listen to for the first few times, but once you get the songs in your head they are amazing, This cd is really diverse and songs dont have the same repetitiveness many other artists have..there are no filler songs. BONEYARDS has one of the sickest breakdowns I have ever heard, along with many others. I really recommend this album, and their old music. Great album
