Album Review

Dubtribe's third album, Bryant Street, recalls '70s deep funk and soul, though with an assortment of distinctly '90s updates, including acid breakbeats and tribal house. Although there are plenty of melodies floating through the LP, the dub influences inherent in the duo's name come through on several tracks, including "Samba Dub," "Wednesday Night" and "Loneliness in Dub."

If you have not heard this album you are missing out. This is one of the albums where every song is awesome. If a part of your body does not start moving to the music, you are dead.

Great album

I am generally a blues and roots rock kind of guy, but this is a great album start to finish.
