Good collection

My friends, there are some glaring omissions here. The original version of the majestic "All I Know" and Art's definitive reading of "Since I Don't Have You." 30 seconds of "I Only Have Eyes For You" is gone, wiped out because it's cross faded to attempt a bit more cohesion with the vintage Simon & Garfunkel material which in my personal opinion has been released numerous times on various compilations featuring the duo and Paul Simon and the sound quality on all compilations is exactly the same. While the sound quality here is improved regarding Art's Sony recordings I found the inclusion of his Capital and independent label association a bit muted. Art is an amazing singer and I really wish he would have used this two disc set more to his advantage disregarding the repeats and focus on his solo work. "So Much In Love," "I Have A Love," and " Second Avenue" are deserving tracks that should be here.

The Voice

Great Coolection

I have followed Art since I was in high school in the 60's and literally have everything he's commercially recorded. This collection is a nice sampling of his career.

Not surprisingly, Garfunkel relied on other songwriters, from Jimmy Webb and Randy Newman, in addition to rock & roll standards like "I Only Have Eyes for...
