J.J. was a great musician that toured United States/Europe and was loved the world over. He was one of the Bay Area's great blues musician's that truly exemplified the sound of Oakland blues. There are many early song's on LP's that people have not had the priveledge to hear like, Tripper, Come On Up, Danger Zone, It's a Shame, and many more. The musician's on this album play so well that it makes you feel like dancing the moment you hear it!! "And The Band Played On", show's J.J.'s versatility and his undying spirit. He will be missed dearly.
