Chaotic, Mona Lisa, Someday (I Will Understand)

OMG! amazing tracks!

Finally Itunes listened, much delayed and if you asked me far too late, and added this Extended Play to their catalogue. Now if they will only add the videos and albums they are missing for artists like Aaliyah, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Nelly Furtado, Christina Milan, Lil' Kim, TLC, Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes, and many others.

This is a fairly good extended play. Someday (I Will Understand) is a song I highly recommend. It is a insightful song Britney Spears wrote (the lyrics for) herself. It tells of the feelings a pregnant woman may face. Splendid and underrated song. Five stars all the way.

Chaotic is a fun song that never made the cut for In the Zone. It was the theme song for TV series 'Britney and Kevin Chaotic'. I'd give it four stars.

Mona Lisa is a intense song with a somewhat misleading premise. The song is introduced as the "Story of Mona Lisa, THE Mona Lisa," while in fact the story seems to be talking about celebrity being built up and then torn down. Mona Lisa was widely loved, but was taken under and cloned (the way many singers have been "cloned" by copy-cats). The storyline losses you at some points. I'd give it four and a half stars.

The blockbuster success of the Spice Girls and Backstreet Boys certainly paved the way for her own commercial breakthrough, but Spears didn't just become a star -- she was a bona fide pop phenomenon. Not only did she sell millions of records, she was a media fixture regardless of what she was (or wasn't) doing; among female singers of the era (many of whom followed in her footsteps),...
